Set a Vacation Message

To set an vacation message in FirstClass do the following:

  • 1. Once logged into FirstClass - access the 'Edit' menu
  • 2. From the 'Edit' menu click 'Preferences'
  • 3. Click the 'Messaging' tab
  • 4. Under the 'Mail Rules' tab enter your vacation message in the 'Reply text:' box.
  • 5. Set 'Local mail:' and 'Internet mail:' to 'Yes'
  • 6. Click 'Apply' then 'Ok'

Once you return you can stop the vacation message by changing 'Local mail:' and 'Internet mail:' to 'No'
