Why Change Advisee Reports Again?

This semester marks the first time Banner has held ALL information on student records. These pages can now give you a unified view of a student record as well as show you most of that information up to the minute. When Banner Self Service goes live it will include all of this and more. Here is a description of each choice.

Transcript Information Summary

This choice will show you the information from a student's academic record organized in ways that will help you answer different sorts of questions. It is also formatted so that it will print well. Note that since it gathers the information from Banner when you ask for it, it is no longer 24 hours behind changes entered into the system. It may also take a few extra moments to extract and present each screen.

Transcript Information Broken Out

Each of the parts of the full Transcript Information Summary is available here for quicker access. As above it is retrieved from Banner when you ask for it.

Banner Schedule Confirmation

This short report, produced nightly, shows the student's current semester schedule with instructor, meeting times and places. Sample Banner Transcript This report, produced nightly, shows the student's record formatted as it would be on an official Banner transcript.

SIS Plus Advisee Report (obsolete)

This report shows the student's last pre-Banner advisee report. It may not exist for all students.

Experimental

This may represent one or more attempts to organize or visualize the student's record. While it is based on data from Banner it is presented on an experimental basis and should only be used to prompt a careful look at the actual record. These may come and go depending on feedback from advisors so comments are encouraged.
