<p></p> <p><b>New page</b></p><div>The computer server and storage upgrade work announced last week was completed this morning with no problems. Servers were moved from one storage system to another, the original storage system upgraded, and then the servers moved back with no downtime for any services. In addition a physical server system was shutdown, upgraded, and moved from the main datacenter in Freel Library to the mini-computer-room in Murdock Hal; again with no downtime for any services. This was a great test of the reliability and flexibility of our computer server infrastructure! <br /> &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;<br /> Kudos to the Computer Support Services staff and particularly to Ian Bergeron.<br /> &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;<br /> -Mark Berman</div>
