Description

The MCLA local area network includes public computers in labs, classrooms and the Library as well as computers designated for the individual use of its faculty and staff. A dorm network is also provided for resident students connecting their computers to the internet. Wireless connectivity to the network is provided in all classroom campus buildings. User accounts are required for access to all resources. Regular accounts must be activated through the Account Management tool. Use of these accounts requires explicit acceptance of a Network User Agreement.

Information about the MCLA Network - BlazerNet

The best and easiest way to connect to MCLA's wireless network is to use BlazerNet. When connecting to BlazerNet for the first time you should open a web browser which will then redirect you to a device registration portal that you will need to login to using your MCLA User ID and password. Once logged in, you will have the option to register the device that you are connecting with. After the device is successfully registered, it will be able to connect to the network without any further action needed. BlazerNet also provides the ability to connect devices that do not have a web browser such has media players, gaming consoles, and smart TVs.

Please note: MCLA owned devices which include computer lab stations and classroom instructor stations, automatically connect to the network and do not need to be registered. Faculty/staff who use college-provided Windows PC desktops/laptops are also automatically configured to work with BlazerNet. Faculty/Staff who use college-provided Apple Mac laptops are required to register on BlazerNet to connect.

See the following resources below to learn more on how to connect.
