[[image:Eduroam.png|right]]MCLA Computer Support Services is pleased Microsoft Office 2003 users are required to announce that we now offer eduroam wireless authentication. eduroam ('''edu'''cation '''roam'''ing) is an international educational collaboration that allows employees and students at participating universities and research institutions install a compatibility pack to offer seamless authentication enable them to the wireless networks at each institutionopen new Microsoft Office 2007 file formats. MCLA joins other local universities that participate in this such as Williams CollegeThe Microsoft Office 2007 Compatibility Pack, Westfield State Universityonce installed, Amherst Collegeallows users to open, edit and save documents, workbooks and presentations in the new Office 2007 file formats. == Connecting to a Wireless Network withOnce the compatibility pack is successfully installed, the 'open' and 'save as' dropdown options in Word, Excel, and Powerpoint will now include Microsoft Office 2007 formats (.docx, xlsx., pptx. etc.) Users can also directly open the new file formats by just double clicking on them. ==
