→‎Accessing the VPN Software
SpectrumU is a live TV service available to all resident students at MCLA. The service streams live video content to user's devices that are connected to the MCLA network. Over 200 channels are avalible through this service. For a full list of channels please [https://techhelp.mcla.edu/images/b/be/SpectrumU_Packages.pdf refer to this guide.]
Note: SpectrumU will not work if a student is not physically on campus; it will not work over a VPN connection from off-campus locationsIf you are using Mac OS, please refer [[MCLA_Remote_Access_(MacOS)| to these instructions instead]].

Access to these resources from other networks requires special software to provide a secure “tunnel” from your computer. MCLA employs an SSL VPN to provide this function and this document explains how to access, install and use this tool for Windows based machines.
