== Introduction ==

As of version 42, Google Chrome disables support for NPAPI plugins by default. Consequently, webpages relying on the Java plugin will not function correctly. To resolve this issue, Chrome provides an override to re-enable NPAPI support.

== Navigating to chrome://flags ==

The first step to enable NPAPI plugin support is to navigate to chrome://flags from the Google Chrome address bar.

== Enabling #enable-npapi ==

The second step to enable NPAPI plugin support is to click the '''enable''' button below the '''Enable NPAPI''' option on the chrome://flags page.

== Relaunching Chrome ==

The final step is to relaunch the Google Chrome web browser. This can be done by clicking the '''Relaunch Now''' button at the bottom of the page.
