MCLA Account Setup
Activating your MyMCLA Account (MyMCLA Portal, Email, Canvas, BlazerNet, Lab Access)
To setup your MyMCLA account, you are required to claim your account by activating it using a link located in Self-Service Banner. Follow these steps to activate:
- 1. Go to http://techhelp.mcla.edu/banner
- 2. Login using your Self Service Banner account (Banner Login Instructions)
- 3. Click the 'Claim Your MyMCLA Account' link located on the main menu of Banner.
- 4. Follow the account claim procedure and obtain the one-time password that is automatically generated.
- 5. Confirm activation is complete by logging into https://sso.mcla.edu with your one time password. A prompt will appear that will ask you to set a new password. The new password you choose should have a combination of numbers as well as letters.
If you have already setup your MyMCLA account, but have forgotten your MyMCLA password then follow these steps:
- 1. Go to http://techhelp.mcla.edu/banner
- 2. Login using your Self Service Banner account (Banner Login Instructions)
- 3. Click the 'Reset Your MyMCLA Account Password' link located on the main menu of Banner.
- 4. Set a new password which should be a combination of numbers as well as letters.
- 5. Confirm the password has been reset by logging into http://sso.mcla.edu with your reset MyMCLA password.
