Multi-Factor authentication MCLA provides remote access to software using Azure Virtual Desktop (aAVD).k.a. MFA) is a security method This service allows MCLA students, faculty and staff to help better protect email accounts and Office 365 access by adding a layer of protection to the sign-license software typically found in processour computer labs 24/7, from anywhere. In addition With the ability to entering access this system with just a passwordweb browser, this added security requires users can have the flexibility to approve their sign-ins connect using a mobile device or telephonetablet, phone, Mac, PC, Chromebook. This way if Users also have the ability to download a user account password more robust Remote Desktop client that provides an optimized experience. Because the process is somehow exposedcloud-based, the account can stay protected by the second factor that experience is required to gain accessidentical for all users.

All MCLA accounts will soon have MFA turned on. MFA will not be required when signing on to the main MCLA Portal, but will appear when accessing any Microsoft related services Here is a list of software that MCLA has is currently available, such as email, teams, and sharepoint.
